Service

Our service department maintains close contact with the food industry, and we are partners in applied research projects. We also offer competent contract investigation and consulting services. Our department has been substantially involved in the improvement of regulatory agency-accredited analytical methods. Our main focus continues to be the development and establishment of new analytical and detection methods for pathogenic microorganisms.

Consulting and Analytical Services

  • General trouble-shooting service for the food industry
  • Consulting services for the product problems
  • Identification of food-borne yeast
  • Identification of food-borne bacteria

Most microbes, especially yeast, can be rapidly identified using the FT-IR spectral library we both developed and routinely apply. For further information on conditions and prices please contact Dr. Mareike Wenning.
